Thermage FLX
Using radiofrequency technology, Thermage FLX treatments tighten the skin by heating up the dermis. The areas that are most commonly treated are the stomach, legs, buttock and arms. However, even areas such as the knees can benefit from this technology.
As the handpiece moves over the treatment area, there will be a dual heating and cooling sensation as well as a gentle vibration. It’s when the deeper layers of the skin reach a specific temperature that tightening occurs.

Fotona TightSculpting
Fotona TightSculpting treatments at Skin Confidence use laser energy to reduce stubborn fat and tighten the skin. Treat various areas of the body, such as the flanks, abdomen, thighs and upper arms. Fotona TightSculpting treatments combine Nd:YAG and Er:YAG wavelengths in an innovative two-step laser system. The first step delivers bulk heat to unwanted fat cells, causing them to break down and naturally remove themselves from the body. The second step aims to stimulate collagen production, to tighten any remaining skin.
During your 20 to 60 minute treatment, you may feel a slight warming sensation as the laser passes over the skin, however, Fotona TightSculpting is usually regarded as quite comfortable. No downtime is required, meaning that you can return to your daily activities right away. For best results, three to five treatments are usually recommended.
Ultherapy
The Ultherapy system uses ultrasound technology to tighten the skin and create a more contoured appearance across key areas. This includes areas such as the stomach, thighs, arms and buttocks.
During treatment, the applicator emits high-frequency soundwaves, which penetrate the epidermal layer of the skin. This process gradually tightens the underlying structures of the skin over the course of several months.
In many instances, one Ultherapy treatment is enough. Other patients require several sessions of about 90 minutes each to achieve their desired outcome. The non-invasive nature of this treatment allows patients to return to their normal routine right away. Most patients will need to wait at least two months before they start to notice a difference.
Venus Legacy
Venus Legacy uses multipolar radiofrequency and pulsed electromagnetic fields to tighten loose skin across areas such as the abdomen, thighs, arms, back and buttocks.
During the treatment, patients can expect to feel a warm sensation as the applicator is applied to the skin. This temperature is maintained throughout your appointment unless you feel it’s becoming too uncomfortable. Along with generating heat, the Venus Legacy device also gently suctions the skin. Each treatment lasts about 60 minutes but this depends on how many areas need to be treated.
Treatments are safe for all skin tones but multiple sessions will be required to see real results. The most visible results will start to show after about three months.
