The Causes of Acne

Fotona SP Dynamis Pro

At Skin Confidence, we have recently invested in the Fotona SP Dynamis Pro, an innovative laser system capable of treating a wide range of skin and body concerns. Treatments work by stimulating collagen production to even out surface irregularities, resulting in clearer, smoother, healthier skin.

Treatments combine Nd:YAG and Er:YAG laser wavelengths to revitalise the skin. During treatment, you may experience a subtle warming sensation, however this should not cause any major discomfort. Fotona laser treatments are highly customisable and produce effective results in just a matter of treatments. Plus, with no downtime required, you can return to your daily routine immediately after treatment.

Healite II

Healite II uses LED light to reduce inflammation and speed up cell regeneration. The energy that’s produced by the Healite II system is delivered deep into the underlying tissue of the skin in order to treat acne.

Of the three wavelengths that can be produced, the blue light 415NM wavelength is used to treat acne-prone skin. The blue light helps kill off the bacteria that causes acne.

A Healite II session takes as little as 15 minutes and is completely non-invasive and relaxing. This procedure is pain-free and patients are free to return to their usual routine directly afterwards. The AquaPure HydroFacial is also non-invasive and helps detoxify and rejuvenate the skin from deep within. The HydroFacial system works with a series of hand-pieces that have a vortex-fusion delivery system. This spiral design allows for optimal and pain-free extractions and deep cleaning. A HydroFacial is carried out in four stages:

Cleansing. During this stage, all impurities are removed and the pores are cleared.
