What is Ultraformer MPT?
Ultraformer MPT, which stands for Micro Pulsed Technology, is a non-invasive treatment option for treating signs of ageing and tightening the skin on the face and body.
It works by using MMFU (Micro and Macro Focused Ultrasound) energy to heat the skin at a deep level, prompting the production of collagen and elastin. The production of these proteins help to tighten and lift the skin, as well as repair the skin in the treated areas to reduce signs of skin ageing.
What to expect
An Ultraformer MPT treatment session will involve passing the applicator over the skin to deliver ultrasound energy and can be tailored to suit your individual needs.
The technology delivers MMFU (Micro and Macro Focused Ultrasound) to the treatment area, stimulating collagen and elastin production over time. The treatment can be personalised with its multi-select cartridges, choosing the right approach for your specific treatment area.
As the applicator is passed over the skin, you can feel a sensation of warmth in the treated area. The treatment can take about 30 to 45 minutes, depending on your individual needs.
Results can be seen soon after treatment, but continued improvements will show for up to six months as the body produces more collagen and elastin
Who are suitable candidates for Ultraformer MPT?
If you would like to treat skin concerns such as fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skin tone and skin laxity, you may be a suitable candidate for Ultraformer MPT.
Ideal candidates should have realistic expectations about the treatment outcomes, understanding that results may vary and that multiple sessions might be necessary. They should also be committed to following aftercare instructions, often including avoiding sun exposure and using recommended skincare products.
However, some contraindications to the treatment may include active infections or skin conditions in the treatment area, open wounds, recent surgical procedures, severe inflammatory conditions like eczema or psoriasis, pregnancy, and certain medical conditions such as cancer or certain autoimmune disorders.
To assess your suitability for the treatment, you will have a consultation with one of our team members to discuss your health history and treatment expectations
